Our Lewisburg dental team is centered on the ideas of continuing education and advancement. Our experienced, caring team members are always studying the latest improvements within the dental industry in order to give you the most comfortable and thorough treatments possible.
Lisa has been our financial coordinator since 1982. She loves the people on our team and all of the services that we provide to the community. She says that our teamwork allows us to provide the ultimate dental experience for our patients. She and her husband Don reside in Northumberland. He is the third generation business owner of Frye’s Interiors. They have two grown daughters who are both RN’s, along with four grandchildren: Ava, Cole, Hayden, and Lucas. When she and the family aren’t traveling, Lisa volunteers at her local church where she has been a Deacon for 30 years.
Patti has over twenty years of experience in the dental field. From being an assistant to financial coordinator, billing and insurance and front desk she strives towards customer care and satisfaction. “A patient should always leave the office feeling like it was the best experience they have ever had.”
Patti graduated from Millville Area High School and resides there today with her partner and daughter. Her daughter is a junior studying at West Chester University in Nutrition and Dietetics. She has 3 cats and two dogs. A huge animal lover.
In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, taking long walks, knitting & reading. Her family is very important to her and she loves spending as much time as she can with them.
Desiree, one of our Scheduling Coordinators, has been involved in the dental industry since 1986. Her journey involved on-the-job training as an Office Manager and Dental Assistant, as well as learning from exceptional dentists along the way. Her commitment to excellence is further evident through her completion of numerous Las Vegas Institute (LVI) courses.
On any given day, Desiree’s responsibilities include managing schedules, handling financial arrangements, coordinating treatments, nurturing patient relations, and providing comprehensive administrative support. Her passion lies in building relationships, both with patients and colleagues. She’s a firm believer in the adage that doing what you love never feels like “work.”
Outside of the office, Desiree cherishes moments with family and friends, enjoys traveling, and has recently discovered the therapeutic nature of painting. She’s amazed by how creating art can be both relaxing and fulfilling.
Janel is an invaluable member of the administration team at Union Dental Health, where she serves as a Scheduling Coordinator. Armed with a degree from Eastern Nazarene College, Janel is passionate about greeting new patients and making them feel at home in the warm and friendly environment of our practice. Her favorite aspect of working at Union Dental Health is the friendly and experienced staff who work tirelessly to take care of patients and their families.
In her personal life, Janel is happily married to her husband, Jeramie, and is a proud mother to their son, Jacob. When not at work, Janel enjoys taking their white lab, Tank, for walks and to the dog park. She and her husband share a love of charity rides on their Harley and spending quality time with family, especially her great nieces and nephews. Janel also has a passion for country music and loves to take in some food and drink at local favorites like Texas Roadhouse and the Bull Run Inn.
Christine lives in central PA with her husband. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the College of Business Pre-law as well as the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in the Residential Design program. She is most likely the smiling voice who will greet you on the phone to schedule your appointments. She has over 15 years of experience in the dental field. “I love that first connection with a patient – it’s always such a satisfying feeling to be able to put them at ease and let them know we will take the absolute best care of them from that first phone call”. She also loves that so many different dental treatments get to stay in-house because our professional, experienced teams can do it all.
Christine has 2 children, Halle – currently a student in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Penn State Hazleton, and Brandon – who recently graduated with his Master’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry and is now employed by Quest Diagnostics in their COVID-19 testing department.
In her spare time, Christine is also the Western Riding instructor at a local riding stable and enjoys teaching students of all ages how to ride and care for horses. Taking them to horse shows or competing herself adds to the excitement!
Mistie is a graduate of Sun Area Technical Institute and has been a dental assistant for over 30 years. She’s been working in our Lewisburg dental office for over two decades. When asked what her responsibilities are around the office, Mistie says, “what isn’t?” She says her hands are everywhere, helping her team and also patients, explaining dental issues and working on financial aid. The best part of coming to work for Mistie is her team of coworkers all the while helping people enjoy improved oral health. If Mistie wasn’t working as a dental assistant, you’d probably find her lying on a beach somewhere in the world with a cool drink in hand. When you meet Mistie, you’ll find she’s fun, committed, tenacious, outgoing, and logical. Outside of work, Mistie is usually spending time with family and her Weiner dog named Pepper. She’s also been known to take trips to Las Vegas or the casinos to enjoy some fun time with friends.
Tara, one of our dedicated Registered Dental Hygienists, has been a valuable addition to the Union Dental Health family since 2021. Her educational journey is as well-rounded as her approach to patient care. Tara holds an Associate of Liberal Arts from Franciscan University of Steubenville, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the same institution, and an Associate of Applied Science in dental hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology, as well as certification in laser dentistry.
As a Hygiene Team Leader, Tara excels in patient care and education. Her true passion lies in helping those with dental anxieties find comfort, and nurturing relationships with patients. She finds the meticulous thought and care of each individual’s treatment plan and the genuine attention given to each patient is a testament to their dedication.
Outside the office, Tara’s love for education extends to her role as a substitute teacher. She also enjoys the best of both worlds, bouncing between the Pacific coast and ski slopes with her children.
Linda graduated from Northampton Community College in Bethlehem before continuing her education at Bloomsburg University. She’s been working in the dental industry for about 36 years, so we were lucky to have her join our practice in early 2021. As a Dental Hygienist, she gets to develop long-term relationships with individual patients as she works directly with them to improve their oral and overall health. She loves how the entire team works together with a combined super-high skill set in order to handle any situation or concern that a patient might have.
Outside of work, you’ll find Linda hiking with her 3 dogs, knitting, traveling, and eating at restaurants like The Lightstreet Hotel with her husband, John. They have two grown children: Madelyn is a pharmacist, and John Jr. owns a local business where Linda works part-time.
Lisa hails from South Williamsport and received her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bloomsburg University and her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Saint Francis in Joliet, IL. She’s been a dedicated member of the dental community for 31 years and has been with Union Dental Health for over 3 years. Lisa is heavily involved in serving her community, both in our office and outside. She has been a member of the Dental Hygiene Faculty at Pennsylvania College of Technology since 1996, is a member of the Dental Hygiene Association and the Academy of Dental Hygiene Studies, and also serves as the advisor for Penn College’s Student American Dental Hygiene Association.
Lisa has a love of gourmet cooking, entertaining, wine tasting, and traveling. She enjoys a host of outdoor activities and spending time with her friends and family and helping in her family’s business, The Bicycle Center.
Susan has been a dedicated member of our team for 14 years and has a total of 46 years of experience in dentistry. She’s not only a graduate of both Bloomsburg University (B.S.Ed.) and Williamsport Area Community College – now Pennsylvania College of Technology (A.A.S), she’s also Dental Laser Certified. Her background in education makes her the perfect person to help teach our patients the importance of dental hygiene care. Susan loves being able to treat each patient as an individual and customizes all aspects of their care in order to help them achieve the best dental health possible. When asked what makes Union Dental Health unique, Susan says, “All the staff members are committed to providing the highest level of care. They are ALL top-notch employees!” When not in the office, she works at the Animal Resource Center’s donation facility in Bloomsburg, she’s on the Election Board for Locust Township, and she’s the Secretary/Treasurer of Sigma Phi – Penn College’s Dental Hygiene Honor Sorority. She may also be found reading, baking, traveling to quaint small towns with unique shops, or spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and gardening. She has one engaged son, one slightly spoiled grandpuppy named Bailey, and one sixth-generation family farm in Numidia.
Sarah graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2017 with her degree in dental hygiene. She loves making a personal connection with her patients and building a long term relationship. She is also extremely devoted to educating them on their individual needs.
She lives in New Columbia tucked away in the woods with her husband Tyler and their three dog babies, Sadie, Jake and Lucy. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, reading, crafting, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family.
Liann, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, obtained her education at Northampton Community College. With her journey in dentistry beginning in 1994, she joined Union Dental Health in 2023. Her primary responsibility lies in providing clinical and therapeutic hygiene care to our patients. Liann greatly appreciates the convenience of Union Dental Health being a multi-specialty office, offering comprehensive dental care under one roof. She finds immense value in the collective knowledge and decades of experience within the entire staff.
Outside the office, Liann’s passion extends to leading worship at two local churches, particularly through her vocal and harmonious musical talents. In her leisure time, she enjoys immersing herself in reading and taking peaceful walks.
Taylor is a graduate of Sun Area Technical Institute and has been working in dentistry for over a decade. She assists the dentists during various treatments and procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and cared for. She says being a dental assistant is a rewarding career because she loves simply talking with our patients and really helping them to improve the health of their smiles. Taylor says it’s a special feeling to help someone feel great about themselves again. There’s another reason why dental assisting was her calling — she loves teeth! She knows about how to keep them healthy and straight too, having spent the last ten years working in orthodontics. Taylor is fun-loving, friendly, motivated, sarcastic, and creative. She’s the lead singer in her church band, and loves to sing, travel, and exercise.
Monica, one of our Dental Assistants, has been a proud member of Union Dental Health since 2021. Her training from Sun Area Technical Institute laid the foundation for her fulfilling career in dentistry. Her role encompasses caring for patients, stepping in wherever needed, and providing invaluable assistance during various dental procedures.
Monica’s journey into dentistry began with a childhood love for dental visits – a source of genuine excitement. Now, she’s thrilled to impart that same enthusiasm to our patients. Her ability to create personal connections with each individual is a testament to her passion.
Outside the office, Monica treasures moments spent with her family and her chocolate lab, Benny. Her interests range from shopping and travel to the great outdoors. She also takes pride in keeping things tidy and organized. Monica’s taste buds lean towards La Primavera, her favorite restaurant, where she indulges in the delightful flavors of all things Italian.
Beth, a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology, is a seasoned professional who has been in the field of dentistry since 1988. She joined Union Dental Health in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of experience. As one of our dedicated Dental Assistants, Beth plays a crucial role in caring for our patients, ensuring their comfort and keeping them well-informed of their progress during their appointments. One of Beth’s biggest joys is seeing her patients’ happy smiles after a successful visit.
Outside the office, Beth’s life is a whirlwind of family activities, as she enthusiastically supports her two children in their dance and cheer competitions. She also has a passion for photography and eagerly anticipates more travel adventures in the future.
Tina is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the dental field, spanning various roles from front office to clinical settings, including working in oral surgery and OSHA coordination. She has been in the industry since 2006 and joined Union Dental Health in 2022. Tina holds an X-ray certification and wears many hats, assisting during procedures, crafting crowns in-house, managing sterilization, and overseeing clinical supplies. Tina takes pride in the cohesive teamwork at Union Dental Health, working toward the common goal of ensuring optimal oral health for their patients and helping those with dental anxiety feel comfortable and safe during appointments.
When not at work, Tina’s heart lies with her family, including her husband, two grown sons, and a daughter-in-law. She also enjoys tending to her flower beds, immersing herself in audio books, and taking leisurely walks in the great outdoors.
